Witness Team HP Streamers Transform Into Vtubers
Our streamers from Team HP – Larissa Rochefort (Indonesia) and Sandee (Thailand) – will be teaming up with dedicated digital artists and riggers to create their very own VTuber personas. Over the next few months, watch as they document their digital transformation through their social media before they go live in the AMD x HP Streamer Challenge.
The VTuber Creation Process

Designer
The first phase of the project is the design of the VTuber, this initially begins with sketches and drawings, before being fully modeled into a 3D character. For this project, the designer will meet with the KOL to discuss what they envision their VTuber persona to look like as well as their personality, lore etc.

Rigger
The next phase of the process involves building the skeleton for the VTuber model. The Rigger’s job is to ensure that the movements of the VTuber Persona map as closely as possible to that of the caster, while also providing its own set of unique characteristics to help define a distinct personality and feel for the character.

KOL
Once character rigging has been completed the VTuber character is ready to make their debut. Initially, before going live, there will be some testing and refinement to ensure that the VTuber is mapped as optimally as possible to the KOL.
